Slow Cooker Bacon Cheeseburger Soup

Ingredients

  • 32 oz. Bag of frozen shredded hash browns
  • 1 1/2 lb hamburger cooked
  • 1/2 lb bacon cooked and chopped
  • 3 lb Velveeta cheese
  • 6 to 7 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 1/2 tsp pepper
  • 3 Tbsp dried minced onion flakes
  • 1 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 3 tsp Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

  • Combine all ingredients in a 6 quart slow cooker. Cook on low for 8-10 hours. Serve with cheddar cheese and bacon, if desired.
  • Can substitute turkey bacon for pork bacon.
  • Can substitute 1/2 cup of precooked bacon for freshly cooked bacon.
  • Can substitute ground turkey for ground beef.

It’s an easy recipe to throw together. We enjoy grilled cheeseburgers and when it’s cold outside Bacon Cheeseburger Soup is the next best thing!
