Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or margarine, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 2 cups oatmeal
- 1, 12-ounce package of chocolate chips
Instructions
- Cream butter and sugars until fluffy; then mix in eggs and vanilla
- In a separate bowl, combine all dry ingredients. Gradually add them to the creamed mixture.
- Mix well, and stir in chocolate chips.
- Drop by spoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheet.
- Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes.
NOTE: If batter seems too moist, add 1 or 2 Tablespoons of flour
