Iowa’s Grilled Turkey Tenderloin Marinade

  • 1 lb. turkey tenderloins, cut in half
  • 1/4 cup dry sherry or red wine
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 2 T. dehydrated onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon ginger
  • Dash of garlic powder
  • Dash of black pepper


Combine marinade ingredients in a container.  Add turkey, turn to coat both sides.  Cover and refrigerate several hours, turning occasionally.  Grill tenderloins over hot heat 6 to 8 minutes per side, depending on thickness.  Turkey is done when no longer pink and the meat thermometer reaches 165 degrees in the thickest part of the turkey.
