- 1 pound lean ground beef, browned
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) reduced-sodium beef broth
- 2 cans (14-1/2 ounces each) diced tomatoes
- 1 can (8 ounces) tomato sauce
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper
- 2-1/2 cups uncooked spiral pasta
- 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese or Mozzarella
Instructions
- Cook garlic with beef; drain.
- Next mix broth, tomatoes, tomato sauce, tomato paste, Italian seasoning and pepper. Bring to a boil; add pasta.
- Return pasta mixture to a boil. Then reduce heat; cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until pasta is tender.
- Before serving, top bowl of soup with Parmesan or Mozzarella cheese
