What will I be doing?

The Production Associate is responsible for the production and warehousing of seed. Must be able to multitask and work efficiently as part of a team.

Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:

  • Adheres to Latham Quality safety and quality standards
  • Conditions and packages soybean seeds for commercial use 
  • Treats soybean seeds for commercial use
  • Efficiently manages inventory and coordinates shipments in and out of the warehouse
  • Ensures accuracy and efficiency in the movement of goods within the organization
  • Complies with Latham Quality personnel policies
  • Performs other duties as assigned

Minimum job requirements:

  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • An agricultural background is helpful but not required
  • Forklift experience preferred

Physical demands and working conditions?

  • Able to lift at least 50 pounds
  • Able to carry boxes and packages of supplies
  • Able to work regular hours as well as some weekends, after hours, holidays, and seasonal overtime
