You asked for it and here it is! LH 4940 Conv/Lfy is a big, tall, robust silage-specific hybrid released in a conventional trait platform. Big, wide sun-soaker leaves on this tall, high yielding hybrid really show off its genetic potential. It is adaptable to lower plant populations while maintaining high tonnage of highly digestable soft starch feed. LH 4940 conv/Lfy is a top choice even in stressful environments. A later flowering hybrid that moves south very well.
