Ingredients
Pizza Dough
1 cup warm water
1 teaspoon salt
1 package dry yeast
2 tablespoon salad oil
1 teaspoon sugar 3 cups flour
Stir yeast in water.
Add other ingredients using half of flour - knead in remaining flour. Let rise in warm place until double in bulk, about an hour.
Pizza Sauce
4 squares hamburger
1 teaspoon salt
8 ounce can tomato sauce
1 teaspoon oregano
Dash of pepper
Brown meat in skillet, then add rest of ingredients and simmer. Could also add fresh or canned mushrooms, sausage instead of hamburger, strips of ham or pepperoni slices (these are good).
Pizza Topping
¼ pound mozzarella shredded cheese
2 tablespoons parmesan cheese
Instructions
When dough is doubled in bulk, divide in half.
Form each half into ball, place in greased 12” baking sheet.
Press out with palm of hands into circle 12” in diameter, making the edges slightly thicker.
On each circle of dough spread the sauce and meat mixture. Sprinkle cheeses on top.
Bake in oven 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes. Serve hot.
