Smoked Beef Brisket

Instructions

Directions:

  • Preheat your grill/smoker.
  • Place Carolina Beef Rub over the brisket.
  • Spray an aluminum pan. Then pour 2 cups of apple juice. Set the brisket, fat side down, in the pan and cover with foil. Set inside the smoker at 180 degrees for 18 hours. Resist the urge to check it!
  • After 18 hours, remove the aluminum foil. Turn up the heat to 240 degrees for 2 hours. Then take the meat out of the smoker. Wrap it in a towel and set it inside a cooler to rest for 2 hours. Cut against the grain and serve.
