Chocolate Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

Ingredients:

  • 1 c. margarine
  • 1 c. sugar
  • 1 c. brown sugar, packed
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 1/2 c. flour
  • 3/4 c. cocoa
  • 1 tsp. soda
  • 1/2 c. chopped pecans
  • 48 Rolo candies
  • 1 c. white chocolate chips

Instructions

Directions:

  1. Cream margarine, sugars, eggs and vanilla, beating well. Stir in dry ingredients.
  2. Chill dough in freezer for easier handling.
  3. Wrap dough around Rolo to form ball.
  4. Roll ball into mixture of chopped pecans and granulated sugar.
  5. Place on greased cookie sheet, and bake 8-10 minutes at 375 degrees. Don't over-bake. Cool.
  6. Melt white chocolate and drizzle over cooled cookies.

Makes about four dozen.
